Did you make it to the Maker Faire?

Wow. . .this past weekend I had the pleasure of going to the Maker Faire. Our good friends brought my husband last year, and now after attending myself, I have a feeling that this will become a must-visit for years to come.

My kids, ages 8 and 6, both found multiple things they couldn't pull away from. It was a truly amazing experience with so much to touch, learn and quite literally - gawk at. I think I have described it to many since as the carni-explori-erector-gorge (festival food!) faire.

Next year I will go more prepared. . like buying tickets online in advance, we waited in line for 40 minutes. And will bring more cash. . .lots to purchase at the Craft area of the fairgrounds.

A Monster a day keeps boredom away!

We found this site awhile back and my kids have it bookmarked and go each day to see the new creations. Really cool and simple, they love it! So do I! Such a creative way to watch ink go down onto paper. . .and a monster appears.
